The Genesis Report!
We reported on the “Genesis Report” some days ago, the management consultants report on the reasons behind the early bath in France and where they insisted that there were no truths in the rumours of unrest and dispute in the Ireland camp.
The feeling among many (Limerick Leader and Belfast Telegraph) is that the report achieved very little other than to find somewhere to blame and get some extra staff in.
22dropout believed that O’Sullivan would keep his job, and we certainly hope so - we’ve put faith in him before - I don’t see that changing too quickly now. A poor six nations campaign might just change that though, without a couple of wins there might be a completely new setup in the Ireland management in the summer!
It remains to be seen who will be brought into the new posts to either assist O’Sullivan, or run the team completely after the Six Nations, but one thing is for sure - Eddie will be looking to prove them wrong and generate a winning performance in the Six Nations 2008 before the IRFU assert their authority on the management setup.
