Flannery Banned

Jerry Flannery will miss this season’s RBS 6 Nations campaign after receiving an eight week ban!

Flannery was cited after appearing to stamp on Julien Bonnaire in the Munster Heineken Cup defeat by Clermon Auvergne on 13 January.

Flannery’s suspension lapses on 19 March – four days after Ireland’s final Six Nations encounter against England.

The player is considering an appeal.
