RWC 2011 pool games announced

One thing that you can say for the International Rugby Board is that they are certainly very organized. Today saw them announced the pool stages for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Never mind the fact that this is more than two years away, they are already organized.

This is to be the biggest sporting event of 2011 and is to be hosted by New Zealand. Ireland have been drawn in Pool C with Australia and Italy and theĀ  two qualifiers from America and Europe. They will play most of their games on the North Island although they will play one game on theĀ  South Island.

This tournament is set to be mammoth and the New Zealand rugby union has promised a spectacular occasion.

IRELAND’S RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011 POOL MATCH SCHEDULE:

Sunday, September 11 – Pool C - Ireland v Americas 2, Stadium Taranaki, New Plymouth

Saturday, September 17 – Pool C - Australia v Ireland, Eden Park, Auckland

Sunday, September 25 – Pool C - Ireland v Europe 2, Rotorua International Stadium, Rotorua

Sunday, October 2 – PoolĀ C - Ireland v Italy, Carisbrook, Dunedin
