Jack Kyle adds his words of praise
Sixty one years ago, Jack Kyle was part of an Irish team that achieved what was thought to be impossible. They brought home the Grand Slam and won the 5 Nations. It was something that would take the country sixty one years to repeat and they have done so in fine style this year.
Jack Kyle was an out half on the team of 48 and he was on hand to watch the boys of 09 bring the trophy home. He credited the team’s performance over the weekend and said that they thoroughly deserved their win. The hard work that has gone into the Irish team in recent years has paid off in his opinion.
He is often said to be the best Irish rugby player of all time and when words of praise come from man such as this then you can be sure that the players will be filled with even more pride.
