Brian O’Driscoll missed Irelands 39-14 victory over the Barbarians on Tuesday after the death of a close friend, casting doubt on his involvement in the tour.
O’Driscoll will travel in the next 48 hours to catch up wit the rest of the squad in Wellington.

Andrew Trimble will also miss out on the summer tour after requiring rehabilitation on a leg injury.
