The British and Irish Lions will face South Africa for three Tests in the summer, and their forwards coach Gary Gold is expecting a tough tour!

'The Lions will have enough talent for us to take them very seriously,' Gold told newspaper D
Ian McGeechan will not name an extended preliminary squad for the tour in South Africa later this year.
McGeechan said:
'Instead of selecting and announcing a preliminary squad this month, we have decided that we should instead work closely with each of the four Home Union coaches in the lead-up
Dr Gary O'Driscoll has the Irish team doctor has been appointed to the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa after his involvement four years ago in New Zealand.
After taking charge for the fourth time Ian McGeechan is determined to restore some faith in the squad. He said:
'The Lions tour is so unique that you have to do things differently to anything you else you do simply because you are preparing for three Test matches in something like four weeks.
'
Not unexpected news by any means, but at least now the appointment has been confirmed.
McGeechan is part of an elite group of people who have coached and played for the British and Irish Lions, and even within this elite group he has a pretty fantastic record!
