It has been confirmed that Brian O’Driscoll will undergo surgery on his shoulder that could keep him out for up to six months. The long standing injury to his neck and shoulder mean he is most likely out of Ireland’s 2012 RBS 6 Nations as well as most of Leinster’s Heineken Cup title defence.
Brian O’Driscoll has announced that the 2013 Lions tour to Australia will be his last trip providing he remains injury free and retains form until then.
